Gulfaam...
Yun hi chalate hue, is zindagi ke safar mein
na jane kaise mulakat hue ek gulfam se
woh na jane kaun hai, kaisa hai
par mehsus hota hai ki woh mere jaisa hai

Dekha to samajh na aaya
apni en ankhon par vishwas na hua
kuch der bita kar samjha use
bheed mein bhi tanha paya use

bahut door reh kar bhi hai woh, pakka Hindustani
jo dhoondhta hai, pardes ki galiyon mein
Ajmer ki khooshabu ko...
tarasta hai jo Pizza ke samne
apni chaupati ki pani pooriyon ko..

Roz akela rehta hai, bade se makan mein
sabhi aisho ke beech bhi,
khalipan hei uske sukun mein
na jane hai kitni kahaniyan,
suljha raha hai kai paheliyan

Chod ke sab kuch, aana chahata hai woh GHAR
koi to pakad lo uska haath
jo nibhaye hamesha uska saath
chu da do usse woh, paraya sa shehar
rok lo use, na jane do dobara, us tanha ghar mein
koi to aao mere sang,
chalo lauta layen, us pyare Gulfam ko apne "GHAR"!

    aankhe bhi baar bar yahi padh rahi,
    es munne ko kuch bhi samajh nahi aya... par en hantho ne apka kamm kar diya... khule ontho(lips) se bas yahi nikla "wah! gulfaam wah! " :)

    Mohotarmaa humne saare ehsaas jee liye...
    Logon ki muskurahat ke liye humne apne gum siyee...
    Na zameen humari huwi naa aasmaan..
    Ab to lagta hai zindagi bhi hai humse parehsaan....

    @Impressionist: Sure,This poem is all about an NRI, who is missing his country, his poeple...he wants to come home leaving all those luxuries but is not able to come back. Though he has spent good number of years and have achieved a lot there..but the indian soul is forcing him to come back. So, m just requesting somebody to compel him to not go back and make him stay back. Just get him back to "HOME".
