u will have to help me out with two words here ... chiten and kadiyaan .....

except for those two words I could understand the rest of the poem and can comment on that subject to the two words mentioned above :)

"man banaye hai yaad karane ke laakho bahane" - is something that I do ... almost every time and hence can relate to it ... hamesha bahane dhoondhta rehta hoon ... this reminds me I am living alone for over 4 yrs now :) ...

"karun kaise dil-e-nazame bayan" had such a gazal like feel to it .. padhte hi daad dena ka mann karta hai :)

chiten means drops as "barish mein pani ke chiten"

and

Kadiyan means chain as "kahaniyon ki kadiyan"

Hope you got the meaning.

The poem is nice and flowing...

and it looks like tazaa taazaa dil toota hai.....is it?

or it's just imagination at work..

I was in the same shoes two years back....spoiled my entire semester....still at times those old thoughts come back to haunt me.
